Are you a personal trainer, class instructor or fitness trainer? Want to learn from THE best in the fitness industry? This course is for you. Ramona Braganza has been one of the best Hollywood celebrity trainers for the past 20 years. Her client list includes Scarlett Johanson, Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman to name a few, but the list is quite simply endless. Ramona is not just a trainer to the stars, but an inspiration to anyone in this industry. Her 321 training course (of which I am a Master Trainer), teaches you her method which in essence is 3 cardio, 2 circuit, 1 core. It is a great structure and is super flexible so it allows you to be creative and incorporate it with your particular training style or clients interests. It does not matter what kind of instructor you are. If you teach classes or do one to one training it is a great tool to have under your belt, and if you are like me, has enhanced the way you work for ever.

The Food Effect – medical based nutrition

2

Continuing on in my pursuit of losing a stone in weight at the beginning for 2013 (Mission 2013 – Lose a stone of excess weight!), I went to see Dr Michelle Storfer who is a medical nutritionist based in North London. Michelle is a trained medical doctor with a degree in Nutrition and it is this combination which initially interested me. I had also noticed that she is an avid baker and cook, who ran her own baking business whilst she was studying, and this also really impressed me. It is one thing to have knowledge and a totally different thing to have the ability to implement it into everyday products and help others to do so too.

Reebok launches bold Yoga collection with ‘Yoga rebel’ Tara Stiles

1

Last Thursday I was invited to attend the special launch of Reebok Yoga SS13 clothing collection in collaboration with Tara Stiles (NYC based model turned Yoga teacher). The day consisted of a morning Yoga class with lovely Tara Stiles in a re-vamped, disused warehouse in Shoreditch, East London. This was followed by lunch and a pampering afternoon at the Sanderson Hotel, London, followed by dinner. Yes, I know what you are thinking, but I did actually have to interview Tara, VP of Reebok Studio Fitness Barbara Ebersberger, and look through the SS13 collection with their head designer – so there was some hard work involved!

As I mentioned earlier this week, the day was absolutely packed so I am going to start with Tara Stiles (part 1) and then review Reebok’s collection (part 2).

As well as the interview, I had the pleasure of talking to Tara throughout the day, and got a great sense of who she is, what she believes in and what she stands for. Tara began life on a farm in the middle of rural America where she enjoyed the outdoors and relished the sense of freedom. Even at this early age she was really active and began to move in what she would later discover was Yoga. It was at University where she was studying dance that a teacher introduced her to Yoga in a more serious way. Before she had chance to evaluate what she wanted to do in life after University, she was offered a modelling job and moved to New York City.

Ramona Braganza 321 training instructor’s course

2

On Sunday I was at Ramona Braganza’s 321 training instructor’s course in Highbury, London. I am training to be a Master Trainer for her method, so this was my last chance to absorb and take in as many tips as possible from the lady herself before delivering the course with Carrie Dodds (Director of 321 Fitness UK)!! The course was, as always, excellent and full of really genuine people who were there to learn and share.

This particular course is for any instructor or trainer, who wants to offer their clients a robust exercise structure which sheds the pounds and builds lean muscle tone. This method was developed by Ramona primarily on movie sets with Hollywood’s finest such as Scarlett Johanson, Halle Berry, Zac Efron and Jessica Alba to name a few.

Portobello Chiropractic Clinic

0

Very recently I woke up one morning and to my horror could not put my right leg in front of my left! I went to see the GP who very worryingly gave me diazepam and told me to come back in a month! This was clearly not an option and I was recommended by a friend to see Nick from Portobello Chiropractic Clinic.

From my first visit I knew I was in good hands (literally!). After an in-depth assessment of my exercise and injury history, plus an ex-ray, Nick got to the bottom of my problem. Following this I have had a course of treatment and will continue to see Nick for ‘maintenace’ on a regular basis.

Ramona Braganza’s 321 training method

0

Last Sunday I was invited to attend the 321 training method which was created by Ramona Braganza, Personal Trainer to the stars! Ramona is based in Los Angeles and has over 20 years experience training A-lister celebrities such as Scarlett Johanson, Halle Berry and Anne Hathaway.

The day was great and was truly inspiring to meet such a successful female personal trainer. The 321 training method is a great structure to follow during group exercise and one-to-one personal training sessions. I tested it out over the Easter weekend with one of my clients and she really enjoyed it! It was a really fast paced session and therefore even through the strength circuits and core section, the pace did not slow down for a minute!

I am now officially a Ramona Braganza 321 trainer, so if you would like to find out any more please contact me right away.
